Requirement

How to Accomplish

1. Be active in your troop and patrol for at least three months after becoming an Eagle Scout or after award of last Palm. (Eagle Palms must be earned in sequence, and the three-month tenure requirement must be observed for each Palm.)

Actively participate in Troop activities for 3 or more months with the following minimum activity since earning Eagle.

·   One (1) or more campout totaling two (2) nights or greater by any combination of Troop monthly or long-term campouts

·   Six (6) or more Troop meetings on record for weekly or patrol meetings

2. Demonstrate Scout spirit by living the Scout Oath and Scout Law in your everyday life.

Your Scoutmaster will schedule your Unit Leader Conference and Scout Spirit Discussion after all other requirements are completed.

3. Make a satisfactory effort to develop and demonstrate leadership ability.

Develop a plan with your Scoutmaster on what you will do to develop and demonstrate leadership, and execute this plan successfully on the plan.   (Note, this could be district, council, national BSA leadership activities, special troop projects, a troop position, or anything the Scoutmaster deems appropriate.

4.      Earn five additional merit badges beyond those required for Eagle or last Palm. (Merit badges earned any time since becoming a Boy Scout may be used to meet this requirement.)
